Marble Sponge Cake








Ingredients:

Sponge Cake Mixed ~~ 250 gm
Egg ~~ 5 nos.
Cold Water ~~ 50 ml
Ovallet ~~ 1 tsp.
Cooled Melted Butter ~~ 80 gm (I use corn oil)
Cocoa Powder ~~ 2 tsp.
Method:

Pre-heat the oven at 170c.
Beat all the ingredients except melted butter until thick and pale.
Mix in melted butter and mix thoroughly. Mix 3 tbsp. of batter with cocoa powder.

Pour the balance of the batter into a cake mould and drop a few drops of the cocoa batter onto the white batter and scribbler with either a chopstick or a skewer.

Place the cake mould into the pre-heated oven and bake for 35 minutes.
